Lack of public interest and risks of wind and solar farms in Europe
30 delegations of 17 members State demonstrated on Place du Luxembourg the lack of public interest and risks of wind and solar farms in Europe :
- Skyrocket of the full cost of electricity in Europe
- Increase of 3000% of Wind and solar capacity in Europe from 2000 to 2025 despite the reduction of electricity consumption in the 27 member staters
- Europewide impact on heritage and health of 550 european citizens
- Lack of consideration of elected people in xx european regions to determine trhe choice of their citizens
More than 250 european citizens and MEP paticipated to the « Stop Green Greed « event to share and understand the realities and risks of wind and solar farms in Europe since 30 years
An expert conference presented the key issues to reduce these risks and renew the Energy policies in Europe based on facts and real data of energy in Europe since 2023
- FX Bellamy ( VP PPE) supported the need of immediate moratorium to stop electricity cost increase and continbuous deterioration of heritage and health of hundred of millions of european citizens
- Alain Ayong Le Kama (FR) demonstrated the socialization of Energy costs and the privatisation of profits due to the lact of proper evaluation of policies in full costs
- Francesco Patresi (IT) ans Alain Ayong Le Kama (FR)highlited the severe impacts of these « farms » to the rural and coast landscape, and particularly to the protected areas for farm, fishing, environment, heritage, memory reasons.
- Thomas Mock ( DE) reminded the impact of these energies on mineral resources at world level
- Ursula Bellut(DE) presented the results of the last 25 years of research on impact of infrasound by onshore and offshore wind mills on the health and the mecanism of deteriration of various organs
Following the open letters of September 1st, and based on these facts and « revelations », the members of EU Charade will present in the coming weeks proposals to the European Counsel, Parlement and Commission based on the principles of the evaluation of the European Court of auditors
